On September 19, 2014, the CFA Institute held its annual GIPS Standards conference which focused specifically on the implementation and application of the GIPS standards and performance reporting. Director Andrew Bowden uniquely addressed the audience, providing an update on the SEC’s activities and OCIE initiatives that was largely unscripted.
